Taken from the 1977 gospel album More by Larnelle Harris, released on Word records. Sampled on the Gang Starr track "Family and Loyaly" Comment about the track and record from Zarek Rubin, who provided the record below:
"This has been an extraordinary day. I worked on the same sample less than a month ago and I'm still figuring out the drums for my beat lol. I remember getting the record, along with some other dope records, from a record store in center city Philadelphia. The record store is called, Long in the Tooth, and I got it on October 10, 2018. I mentioned that I got in trouble for this record on Facebook and that's because I was crate digging during a class in college. I had poetry, which was just an elective at the time, and my assignment was to write a poem on things that were displayed behind a display glass. I decided to write about records and buy a few records out of courtesy. After I bought the records, I wrote the poem on my phone at the last minute while running back to class. I was only supposed to have an hour and I stayed outside longer than expected. Not only was I late, my professor could not accept my required hand written poem for homework. I felt really furious that day and I decided to change my Facebook profile picture to a red background. I also showcased the album in my story highlight, "Crate Digging" on my Instagram (@ezekegotbeats) right after I bought it. Who knows how long ago DJ Premier made his instrumental, but at least Larnelle Harris has some recognition. "
