Hoping someone can just yank the virtual world chord out of your brain stem? Well look no further, pilgrims - we have the wake call for you, courtesy of Italian residente Laesh with his Piano Spider EP - four full-out house workouts, served with a healthy side salad of aquatic dub techno synth and hot gate 909s.Title track “Piano Spider” is some real pumping, hot-buttock, hug-anybody-close-enough, disco shit. In some circles it might get away with being called a Banger. Not a crazy spelling b4nG0R but the regular kind that gets you involved from start to finish. “Wolf of May” IS a BaNg0R. It’s the kind of dubby fist-raiser 4 out of 10 physicians recommend you employ to turbo charge your morning routine. In the biz we refer to these sorts of tracks as “stab-o-licious”. Its really difficult not to pound out shapes at your cat while you throw yourself into this one. “Ipothesys” is like the aural equivalent of doing burpies in your living room - it’s kind of weird but you know you need more of this in your life. You know what I can’t ever seem to get enough of? Some semi-acidic chicago style square bass. Closing tune “Square Waves Beach” really flexes my vibe muscle with a mountain of Square Bass. Four tunes to fill your hole. Lift!
