Algunas curiosidades:

- Las primeras 10,000 copias incluyen un inserto \"Metal Militia\".

- Dave Mustaine obtiene un crédito como co-compositor de \"Ride the Lightning\" y \"The Call of Ktulu\".

- \"For Whom the Bell Tolls\" se titula después del libro de Ernest Hemingway, y toma prestado el tema de un pasaje.

- \"Creeping Death\" trata líricamente sobre la historia bíblica de las plagas de Egipto.

- \"The Call of Ktulu\" se titula después de un H.P. Historia de Lovecraft, aunque la ortografía original es \"Cthulhu\".
