Consisting mainly of recordings made by RCA Victor in the late '40s, this is the only Lp RCA ever saw fit to issue of those recordings. In my humble opinion, it's their best work. Consensus is that The Delta Rhythm Boys are the gap between The Mills Brothers and '50s Doo-Wop. I won't argue with that! When their style fell out of fashion in the US during the '50s, they packed it up and moved to Europe, where they continued to have success in the Nordic regions... especially in Sweden!
