\"Too Shy\" foi escrita e gravada pela banda inglesa Kajagoogoo, lançada em 1983, single produzido pelo tecladista Nick Rhodes do grupo Duran Duran, primeiro single de seu álbum de estreia “White Feathers”, sendo um sucesso imediato alcançando o nº 1 no UK Singles Chart por duas semanas. Na MTV a música foi exibida várias vezes tornando-se mais tarde um sucesso nos Estados Unidos, atingindo o quinto lugar na Billboard Hot 100.
O vídeoclip da música tem no elenco a modelo Carolyn Espley (mais tarde esposa de Dennis Miller, comediante e apresentador de talk show americano) interpretando uma garçonete de limpeza numa casa noturna no final da noite. Conforme a banda executa a música no palco do clube, ela tem visões de dançarinos de diferentes épocas que povoam a pista de dança.

On MTV the song was shown several times becoming later a hit in the United States, reaching fifth place on the Billboard Hot 100.
The music video features cast model Carolyn Espley (later wife of Dennis Miller, comedian and American talk show host) playing a cleaning waitress at a nightclub late in the evening. As the band performs the music on the club stage, it has visions of dancers from different eras who populate the dance floor.
