Urban Blue is the debut studio album by singer-songwriter Ken Kobayashi. Many of the songs on the album were composed and arranged by Kobayashi himself. Kobayashi also served as producer for the album.
The album was co-produced by Shinji Shiwada (沢田信二) and co-arranged by keyboardist Tadashi Nanba (難波正司), who would eventually become a member of the jazz fusion band T-Square from 1997 to 1999.
The song「君の瞳のブルー」was featured in a commercial by Yamaha made for promoting their music products, in which Kobayashi himself made an appearance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-f1uPerk90w
This was one of a few works released during Kobayashi's short musical career. He released two studio albums and a few singles before disappearing from the music industry without a trace.
君のSTATION (pronounced Kimi-no-Station, or \"Your Station\") is the showcase for music of the \"city pop\" genre. Unlike other channels, however, relatively obscure albums, albums currently existing in low quality, and albums that haven't been uploaded in full, will be seen here on this channel.
