Compared to my other videos, Origami King covers have not performed as well as the others leading me to believe a lot of people slept on this game. It is definitely my OST of the year so far so that makes me sad, but I'm not going to let that stop me from enjoying playing these songs for you guys! When I first heard this song I wanted to play it on guitar almost instantly. There's something about that Phygian Dominant sound that begs to be played in this style. It was just an absolute blast.
The bassline though was really something else, though. In the style of the song, the rhythm is very strange and really works against the song. I decided instead of changing it to not only put emphasis on it, but write a breakdown riff around it which ended up sounding incredibly heavy. Again, this was just a blast to put together and I hope you enjoy!
