\"Wheels,\" written by Chris Hillman and Gram Parsons, first appeared on The Gilded Palace of Sin, the debut album by The Flying Burrito Brothers, released in 1969. This is a cover by Emmylou Harris, Gram's protégée, who has championed Gram's work throughout her career. Recorded in 1988 with The Seldom Scene at the 15th Anniversary Celebration, Live at the Kennedy Center, it appeared on Songbird: Rare Tracks & Forgotten Gems, the 2007 box set of songs personally selected by Emmylou, released on the Rhino label.
