-- This album has taken years to put together. The songs \"Prepare For Takeoff\" and \"Helicopter Blues\" were first produced back in 2017 in a basement in NE Portland with a bass, a guitar and a computer. The name Zentimental derives from my personal sentimentality regarding the changing structure of American society and my belief in Taoist teachings. \"Passing Through Centralia\" is probably the most personal song. I wanted to convey the same feeling of elation, relaxation and somberness I felt on trips through the wilderness as a kid. I felt that Centralia marks a middle point for many growing up in the Pacific Northwest, a middle point between high hopes for the future and deep sadness one can feel growing up in the Pacific Northwest.
