In 1986, at age 16, I was the drummer in Seven Chinese Brothers, which at the time was Shaker Heights, Ohio’s number one R.E.M. tribute band.

For CCARS #11, I reunite with bass player Steve Kelly, who now lives in Boston, for “Can’t Get There from Here.”

Also in the house are Scott Aukerman (guitar) and Adam Scott (percussion) -- R.E.M. superfans and co-hosts of the amaazing podcast “R U Talkin' R.E.M. RE: ME?”
