I think most people know this tune due to its rendition in Brawl, and that's where I first heard this tune. This blazing fast tune is a big challenge to play cleanly at the tempo it's originally written, but it sounds super cool! Super Soul Bros, a video game funk / soul band, has a version of this tune at its original tempo which is BLAZING fast and groovy. I decided to offer an alternate take and slow things down, in a groove inspired by Marshall Gilkes' tune \"Slashes\". Auden joined me on this one since \"Slahes\" is a tenor / trombone duo. Funny enough, Marshall Gilkes is actually Auden's trombone teacher here at Berklee... go figure!
