After leaving The Homosexuals in 1981, the man with a hundred pseudonyms - Jim Whelton (aka L. Voag, Amos, King Kobra and so on) - teamed up with a singer called Sara for the 1982 pair of seven-inch singles, It's War Boys, which this track is taken from.
It's sort of like a better Raincoats, to my ears. Post-punk DIY messthetics with plenty of abstract dub, jazz and general mad doodling scattered throughout.
