Here's my video game piano cover of Sealed Door from Chrono Trigger! I'm Sab and I love saxophone and video games, so now I make covers that combine two of my favorite things!

It's been awhile since I've done a Chrono Trigger cover (excluding Schala's Theme). It's been almost a year since I released an album! That's crazy!

Sealed Door is such a beautiful tune from Chrono Trigger and plays during some of my favorite moments in the game. It's when the plot gets super intense and we learn about more connections between all the eras! I tried to avoid putting spoilers in the little Chrono Trigger game footage I put throughout the video.

I figured solo piano worked best for this because when I tried to add other instruments and parts, it just didn't sound right. I really like the solo piano feel! I wanted to do something similar to Manoria Cathedral since both tunes are really short and I wanted to extend Sealed Door in the same way! THE COLORS AND HARMONIES ARE SO FLIPPING BEAUTIFUL IN THIS TUNE, OKAY?
