Mensa Group International are two internet-natives involved in a deep post-historical meditation on what we as listeners are willing to accept as “WHEN”. Their self-titled EP presented here is a collection of five lo-fi lobby-funk found artifacts, recorded now and buried in our own notion of musical-history and then aged conceptually for us to DISCOVER.



Like the corporate-funk of the late 70s these sonic motifs for forgotten ad campaigns create a calming space for us to linger in, persuading us out of time to a sort-of singular moment. Arpeggiated synthesizer echoes through our perception of THEN and creates a new environment for us to experience in the NOW; on-line. Earnest escapism crafted from nostalgic-marble set in contemporary digital-sand. Cloying at our longing, showing us that our faded dreams are not just soul-food for Langoliers but building blocks of our most triumphant present.



Revel in our forgotten NOW with Mensa Group International, the perfect soundtrack to our on-going endeavors, a sonic augmentation to our hopes and dreams, and perfect adventurous-companion to our life pursuits.
