Take a step into Hollywood with Unloved’s When A Woman Is Around, a story of passion, creativity and unlikely meetings.
The story began in the Rotary Room, Hollywood – a place that looked like a dive on the outside but was in fact a breeding ground of creative genius.
After film score composers, David Holmes and Keefus Ciancia had gathered to hear Jade Vincent perform, a collaboration was born. David and Keefus would create the landscape, that would metamorphose into instrumental soundscapes, that would then be passed on to Jade to wrangle, arrange and caress with lyrics of lament and confession.
The latest single is When A Woman Is Around released on March 18th.

From its opening scene at the Rotary Room, the story of Unloved moves to ‘Woodys’ - Vox Studios, helmed by composer Woodrow Wilson Jackson III; a time capsule of great sounding records.
Keefus and David set the stage with untiring drive, while Jade Vincent and Raven Ciancia-Vincent, Kat Khaleel, Sarah Rayne, Tanya Mellotte and Penelope Fortier, step into character. With contributions from Jim Keltner (John Lennon), Gus Seyffert (Beck, The Black Keys) Wayne Kramer (MC5) and Tommy Morgan (The Beach Boys, Elvis) the score is seamlessly transformed to soundtrack.
