This is one of only three titles from Jay Whidden's only recording session for Metropole. This being the only one in which Phil Arnold takes the vocal,(the other two being sung by Whidden). Arnold who was in vogue around 1928-9 sounds rather American. I recall a record dealer once described him as a \"Cockney American\".
