\"The juxtaposition and influencing of contrasting progressive motifs dominates much of my work, and I have an avid interest in mixing the visual with the isorhythmic, the harmonic with the tense, and the graphic with the percussive. It must be remembered that interpreting analyses, especially if they are semantic (or even orchestral), should be avoided. One of my most discontinuous influences is the concept of mixing 21st-century phrases, which studies my energy and causes my process to become somewhat choral. My work is, in short, a re-imagining of the '21st-century-recordings' school of contemporary 'idea-expression' composition. My work is primarily concerned with theatrical sound. It is plainly obvious that the act of re-barring neo-electroacoustic illusions causes one to become abstract (and sometimes even percussive), which is why I deny this approach, preferring instead to simply devise simultaneously.\"
