"The W Likes was born some time around December 2010 – January 2011 by Willy (vocals & guitar), Erik (drums) and Balbosj (bass). Started playing in June 2011 after searching for a rehearsal space for months. So 15th of June 2011 is the official birthday of the band.

Live debut came the same year as an acoustic set at Gravdahl, Hamar during Rocktober.



Early 2012 they became a four piece when Stian joined on guitar. Later that year they recorded a 3 songs demo at Musikkverket Hamar to fulfil the demand of sound on the web. Festival debut at Tangenrock."
