Saken are a Chilean death/thrash metal band, formed in 1994. They had an hiatus from 2000 to 2011 and they are not active again, having re-issued Hell Withing in 2014 and released their 2nd LP in 2015.
In this channel we absolutely worship the Chilean scene, and Hell Within, Saken's debut album, only comes to prove our point. Deathrashing madness for almost 50 minutes, filled to the brim with that amazing and classic sound that only Chilean bands can actually write and play the shit out of it. Also, the bass is so present in this recording, unlike many other releases that pretty much bury it behind any other instrument. Sometimes it even sounds like the bass is the lead instrument, its wicked good.
If you are into late 90's death and thrash mixes and want a fine regional twist to it - well first of all dont ignore the Chilean scene - then listen to Saken. 200% worth your time.
