I was absolutely spellbound by this song when I first heard it. Like many, I was singing it for weeks and weeks and I knew I had to cover it. What I didn't expect was to see so many covers of the song come out so quickly after the release. I was stuck away from home during the holidays and had MAGfest and NAMM in January so it was so difficult to get it out in a timely manner. I was starting to think people would probably be sick of it by the time my version came out, but I didn't care because I love the song a lot and had a great time doing my own thing with it.

I've actually been playing The Witcher 3 since it came out on the Switch and I've been absolutely in love with it. I've sank about 60 hours already into it even around finishing Death Stranding and Pokmon. It's been such a go to for travel since the stories and so good it makes the time fly by. I'm really excited to cover some music from it!

For this cover I really went with my gut on every decision arrangement wise. A lot of the time, I'll worry if what I do really serves the song, but I knew making it metal was already throwing so much up in the air so I really embraced it.
