Edouard R.Diomgar developed the idea for his robots as a prisoner in a german prisoners of war camp. After his release he started working on this projekt. \"Les Robots music\" ,an electric/pneumatic machine, playing real instruments, travelled from 1958 with an exhibition of the \"Union of french Prisoners of war\".Until 1984 the show could be seen in France, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands. They have a repertoir of about 500 songs.
The film was shot at Museum fuer Kommunikation, Berlin, on April, 14, 2007, where
they could be seen for the first time after 1984.
