Encuentros Intimos at Dialogue Brewing were a series of unplugged concerts performed by Engine in Albuquerque, New Mexico, during 7 weeks from April to May 2018. As the weeks went by and the concerts sold out, a strong connection flourished with the crowd packed in this little space. Encuentros Intimos became like a home for Engine and they decided to capture the spirit of these special nights.
The band recorded the last concert on May 2nd 2018. Original compositions, poems and traditional songs bounced in the tiny hot room while Engine and guests (Caro Acuña on percussion, Maritri Garrett on backing vocals & shakers and Ebony Isis Booth speaking her poetry) were creating musical and theatrical bridges for an intimate encounter. Here it is for the pleasure of your ears and soul.
These encounters were organized and produced by AMP Concerts, following the intuition of Neal Copperman, whom we would like to thank especially as well as Sam and Daniel from Dialogue Brewing.
This album is dedicated to all the people fighting for a living culture everywhere on this planet.

Encuentros Intimos en Dialogue Brewing fueron una serie de conciertos acústicos realizados por Engine en Albuquerque, Nuevo México (EE.UU) durante 7 semanas de Abril - Mayo 2018. A medida que las semanas pasaban y el público agotaba las entradas, una fuerte conexión floreció dentro de la pequeña sala con los espectadores. Encuentros Intimos se transformó en la casa de Engine, y fue ahí que decidieron atrapar el espíritu de esas noches especiales.
La banda grabó el último concierto, el 2 de mayo de 2018. Composiciones originales, poemas y cantos tradicionales rebotaban en la habitación mientras Engine y sus invitados (Caro Acuña en percusión, Maritri Garrett en coros y shakers y Ebony Isis Booth recitando su poesía) creaban los puentes musicales y teatrales del encuentro íntimo. Aquí está, para el placer de tus oídos y tu alma.
Estos encuentros fueron organizados y producidos por AMP Concerts, siguiendo la intuición de Neal Cooperman, al cual queremos agradecer especialmente, así como también a Sam y Daniel de Dialogue Brewing.
