Fortunately, it was the classic “Night And Day” which was the one Cole Porter song retained from his stage score for “Gay Divorce” [sic] when RKO did their movie version. It starred Fred Astaire (also retained from the stage play) and Ginger Rogers in their first top-billed film role together. Among the new songs written for “The Gay Divorcee” was this Mack Gordon-Harry Revel tune.
From 78rpm Brunswick 6963 - Don’t Let It Bother You (Gordon-Revel) by Leo Reisman & his Orchestra, vocal by Sally Singer, recorded August 24, 1934
