Tigran Hamasyan's Armenian prog jazz grooves meet Fire Emblem Fates' most iconic tune in this week's jazz remix! All you Fire Emblem fans will certainly recognize this melody. Insaneintherainmusic's jazz cover / remix of Lost in Thoughts in All Alone from Fire Emblem Fates.
Haven't played this particular Fire Emblem game, but I played Fire Emblem Awakening and absolutely loved it! I've heard that Awakening is generally accepted as being better than fates... so maybe I won't sully my view of the Fire Emblem franchise with the Fates installment, unless one of you guys convinces me otherwise ;)
This cover was heavily influenced by Tigran Hamasyan's music. I've been studying Konnakol recently, which is the South Indian system of rhythmic solfege. This has helped me work on subdividing the beat into 5, rather than the 2, 3, and 4 common in Western music. This also helped me develop my polyrhythmic skills, which you'll hear a few of throughout this arrangement! I'm pretty darn happy with this cover, so I hope you guys are as well :D
